PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Mastic Beach has scheduled a public hearing for Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at the Town of Brookhaven Senior Nutrition Center, 369 Neighborhood Rd., Mastic Beach, New York; the purpose of the public hearing is to consider comments regarding a Draft Generic Environment Impact Statement (DGEIS) prepared for the Village of Mastic Beach's proposed adoption of its first zoning code, a Type I Action under the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA). The Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Mastic Beach, 427 Neighborhood Road, Mastic Beach, NY, has been designated the lead agency for review of the proposed action under SEQRA.

Copies of the Draft Generic Environment Impact Statement (DGEIS) are available for viewing at Village Hall, 427 Neighborhood Road, Mastic Beach, New York. Interested persons will be afforded the opportunity to be heard. Written comments regarding issues to be addressed in the DGEIS will be accepted until 4:00 P.M., July 15, 2013. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 7 p.m. in the Mastic Beach Fire Department Headquarters, 265 Neighborhood Road, Mastic Beach, New York, by the Village Board of the Incorporated Village of Mastic Beach TO AMEND SECTION 380-5 OF CHAPTER 380 OF THE VILLAGE CODE TO REQUIRE AN ANNUAL FEE FOR A RENTAL OCCUPANCY PERMIT, a copy of which proposed local law is on file at the Office of the Village Clerk.

At said Public Hearing any person interested will be given the opportunity to be heard.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tax Roll and Warrant for the Fiscal year 2013-2014, ending May 31, 2014 has been delivered to the Village Treasurer and the Village Clerk of the Village of Mastic Beach for the purpose of collecting taxes therein levied. The Treasurer will receive said taxes from June 1, 2013 to July 1, 2013 at Village Hall, 427 Neighborhood Road, Mastic Beach, NY from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. daily except Saturday, Sunday and Legal Holidays, or by mail at P.O. Box 521, 427 Neighborhood Road, Mastic Beach, NY 11951. Payment must be made by cash, certified check, money order, or credit card.

TAKE NOTICE THAT all taxes not paid on or before July 1, 2013 will bear penalties as required by law. Payment for taxes made after July 1, 2013 without the inclusion of the penalty due will be returned to the sender thereof for the inclusion of the amounts due as prescribed. Five percent will be added to taxes received after July 1, 2013 and one percent for each month thereafter until paid in full.

PURCHASE OF AN INFRARED ASPHALT HEATER FOR THE VILLAGE OF MASTIC BEACH

Specifications are on file at the Village Clerk's Office and may be picked up between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:30 pm., Monday through Friday on or after Thursday, May 9, 2013. These specifications have met the approval of the Village of Mastic Beach.

Each proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Sealed Bid - Bid # 1-2013 Infrared Asphalt Heater for the Village of Mastic Beach". All bidders must comply with all Federal, State, and Local Laws.
